My lab has been having issues with 2 of our 5x500L milling machines with puck changers. We have had quite a few issues with these machines and I wanted to post here to see if others are having or have had similar issues.

Our current issues include problems with the cartridge clamps, ATC changer. and zero point clamps. The support guys at axsys are some of the most knowledgeable in the business and many go above any beyond. However, I don’t have the same kind words to say regarding the higher ups as they have been completely absent in resolving this matter. I’ve had one mill completely down and one mill functioning without the changer for over 3 weeks. This is costing the lab hundreds of dollars everyday.

Any other labs out there that have had similar issues?

Hey CADL,
I am so sorry to hear about your issues with the 500L.
This is actually the first I am hearing about your issue or of someone being down or with non-functional equipment for that period of time.
I am particularly concerned about your comments regarding the "higher ups" as I am in that category.
Please PM me and I will look further into this ASAP to get the details, and your issue sorted.
If you could please include your contact details (name, lab name, email, phone, etc.), I will contact you to follow up.
Sincerely
Steve

Hey just wanted to chime say I agree with you about axsys having the smartest techs around, seriously love those guys, they constantly go above and beyond. Sadly I have to also agree that their upper management/higher ups and some of the sales guys are just super shady and give the impression that they don't care about you or your business at all. Get everything in writing

It upsets me greatly to hear this.

I have no tolerance for "shady" reparatives in my company, regardless of position.

I ask that you kindly PM or call me to discuss the experience that formed your opinion and prompted such a negative response

The types of representatives you indicated we have do not belong in this company, they do not represent myself nor my company ethos.

They, just as you're comments do, hurt our business and damaged our reputation- one which I worked hard for 30 years to establish and maintain as fair and honest with a in deep caring and respect for our customers business.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to hear from you so that I can correct that which you havel experienced.

Most sincerely
Steve
